Florida based Institute QAI provides this certification, named CAST (Certified Associate In Software Testing). BY registering on the site anyone can register for the certification. The fee of the certification is $100. All of the registered candidates receive the STBOK book for preparation, which help them for preparing the exam. Passing marks to clear the exam and to get the certification is 70%. Anyone who has completed 4 year degree course or have 2 completed 2 year degree course with one year of experience or has 3 years experience of IT industry can appear in the exam. This foundation level testing certification course consists of 40 multiple choice questions, which are to e attempted within 60 minutes time. ISTQB (International software testing qualification) costs Rs. 4500 for Indians and US $250 for USA candidates. Aspirants can register for the exam through the website of ISTQB and the complete details of the exam are also available there like exam dates, exam booking and fees applicable for the exam. The certification for testing can be applied through HP website, which costs around $350 and the registration can be done through HP website. After complete registration the students are issued learner’s ID. Student can select the language of exam, date of exam, center of the exam. The passing marks of exam are 75% and the paper consists of 69 questions. One can prepare for the exam through self study and with the help of mock exam. This exam is for those who have around 5-8 years of experience in testing or for more intermediary candidates. The certification name is HP HP0-M102 for UFT version 12.0.
Those who clear the foundation or basic level certification of ISTQB are eligible for this advanced certification for Test architect or test analyst. Any computer science degree holder with around 24 months of testing experience can apply for this certification. Cost for the certification Rs. 4500 for Indian candidates and $250 for USA candidates. There are two certifications one is for Test Analyst and another for Technical Test Analyst. Exam consists of 45 multiple choice questions, and within 120 minutes the test analyst job can be completed, while test analyst the exam consists of 65 multiple choice questions, which have to be completed within 180 minutes. The exam can be cleared through Self study and online study material.

For this exam of ISTQB the foundation level certification is a pre-requisite and the computer science degree holders with 24 or 36 months testing experience is compulsory to clear two or three sub modules respectively. For those who do not have computer science degree 5 years of testing experience is necessary. You can enroll through company website for the exam and it costs 4500 Rs. For Indians and $250 for USA candidates. The study material is available online. Passing marks for the exam is 75% and consists of 65 multiple choice questions. This is an advance level certification so 8-11 years of experience is required for the exam.
The delivery manager kind of role through this exam can be get. The expert level test manager exam consists of 3 sub-modules and the exam for testing process has 2 sub-modules. Certification cost is $375 and the foundation level certification is a pre-requisite for this exam. One can enroll online for this exam and the study material is available online. Reference books, self study material can help to clear the exam. The syllabus is available on the website and passing marks is 75%. The exam consists of 25 multiple choice questions, to be solved in 45 minutes.
