Elastic cloud server & hosting is basically a service from AWS via which instances of different flavours can be launched.

For eg. via EC2 service you can RHEL, windows, Ubuntu, fedora based instances and can work on them or configure LAMP stack or desired application just like its done on standalone servers or on vmware servers.

These instances once launched can be accessed via a user’s private key (defined at the time of creating instance).

Various options are also available for configuration or setting up volumes while creating any instance which we’ll discuss and cover up in upcoming topics.

Also, as per requirement type of EC2 instances can be chosen depending upon the amount of RAM and CPU availability needed
