What are managed policies?
The policies created by AWS itself i.e. which are predefined within an AWS account are known as managed policies.
There are a number of policies already written by AWS and which are mentioned in each and every root account by default. These themselves are capable enough to solve many of the predefined accesses. This can also be modified by the user to add or restrict any access as per specific needs then the same policy becomes user customizable.
