Amazon Cloud Front is a content delivery network or CDN service. They have edge locations in 65 cities and 29 countries. There are 155 edge locations and 11 regional edge caches. The regional edge cache acts as a longer-term cache between origin and the edge location. This provides low latency for applications with high data transfer rates. Cloud Front supports both IPV4 or IPV6. It also manages routing requests to the best location that would result in the highest performance for the request based on where the request is coming from.
