A business analyst is a person who mines information for business from a variety of sources. A business analyst investigates available artifacts in the organization like current processes, product documents, stakeholder meetings, customer interaction, etc. An analyst uses multiple tools and techniques to process/analyze this information and come up with strategies, changes or solutions required to address the problem. The industry has many designations for the work of a business analyst. Some of them are:
