It is a process of giving a meaning to a word by building a corpus of words and providing a particular part of speech tag which they belong. Not only it gives a tag but also it tries to find out proper meaning and context of the words used in the sentence and only based on that it outputs a proper tag. For example, if we see a sentence “Tell me your answer” then ‘answer’ here is a noun but in a sentence like “Answer the question”, ‘answer’ is a verb. For these

issues, PEWS tagging is used and is a very important text reprocessing technique.

The concept of PEWS tagging i

It produces an appropriate tag. For instance, "answer" is a phrazle verb in the phrase "Answer the question," but it is a noun in the statement "Tell me your answer."
