 In the context of data science, you can optimize the performance of a sentiment analysis model, selecting and tuning hyperparameters is crucial. Here is how you can do so:-

Define hyperparameters

You can try to identify the hyperparameters that are relevant to my sentiments analysis model, such as learning rate, regularisation strength, number of layers, number of neurons per layer, etc.

Selection of the hyperparameters search method

You can choose a method to search the hyperparameter space, such as grid search, random search, or even Bayesian optimization.

Implement cross-validation

You can use techniques like K fold cross-validation on the training set for evaluating the performance of different hyperparameters Configuration more robustly.

Fine-tune

If necessary, you can try to perform further fine-tuning by narrowing down the hyperparameters search space and Interatimg on the process.

Here is an example given of hyperparameters tuning by using the grid search in Python with scikit learn:-

From sklearn.model_selection import GridSearchCV
From sklearn.svm import SVC
From sklearn.feature_extraction.text import TfidfVectorizer
From sklearn.pipeline import Pipeline
# Define pipeline with classifier and vectorizer
Pipeline = Pipeline([
    (‘tfidf’, TfidfVectorizer()),
    (‘clf’, SVC())
])
