Checking system load.

System or server load can be checked via check_load

    plugin.

Three levels of threshold can be set within this plugin, 1 for warning , second for another warning and last one at critical stage.

This plugin can also be executed in the same way i.e. via check_nrpe.

This plugin comes under “Standard nagiosplugin” archive and can be downloaded using the same archive present in Nagios exchange url (stated earlier in this chapter).
