Non-functional testing is an important aspect of software testing that focuses on evaluating the system's performance, reliability, usability, and other quality attributes, rather than its functional behavior. Here are the different characteristics and sub-characteristics of non-functional testing:

Performance Testing:

Load Testing: Evaluates the system's behavior under different load conditions, such as the number of concurrent users, data volume, and transaction rates.

Stress Testing: Assesses the system's behavior under extreme load conditions, beyond its normal operating limits, to identify its breaking point.

Scalability Testing: Ensures that the system can handle increasing amounts of work without degrading performance.

Capacity Testing: Determines the maximum amount of work the system can handle before its performance becomes geometry dash subzero.
