I am a Salesforce user and while using my account, I got the error message “we can’t log you in because of an issue with single sign-on. Contact your Salesforce admin for help”. How can I approach to troubleshoot and resolve this particular issue?

In the context of Salesforce, you can solve and troubleshoot the issue of “we can’t log you in because of an issue with single sign-on. Contact your Salesforce admin for help” by using the following steps:-

Checking for recent changes

Try to determine if there are any recent changes were made to the SSO Configuration or even the permission of users.

Verify SSO Configuration

Try to ensure that the SSO Configuration in Salesforce is correctly set up and it should match the setting that is provided by the identity provider (IdP). You can also check the SAML setting, including the issuer, and the service provider assertion consumer service URL.

Checking user permission

Try to confirm that the affected user has the required permissions and access rights in both the platform of Salesforce and the identity provider.
