Smart capture is functionality in Salesforce Marketing Cloud that captures an individual's details from a website or a landing page into Salesforce Marketing Cloud's List, Data Extension, or an external data source. It is the most commonly used recording method in ActivePresenter. With Smart Capture method, screenshots are captured when there is an input from your mouse or keyboard. In this method screenshots as well as objects of each step are placed in one slide.
