. What is PORTAL_NO_ACCESS and community plus license?

When I am trying to create a community user using apex code or self-registration, I am getting the error: PORTAL_NO_ACCESS. But I have activated the digital experience in org, added roles to admin users, and created accounts and contacts. I also have Customer Community Plus licenses and a custom Community Plus profile for the digital experience. I have also activated the option “Allow users to self-register.” What could be the reason for this error? Can anyone assist me? Am I missing any steps?

You are getting the PORTAL_NO_ACCESS error because you may not have activated the community. You first need to activate the Community Plus. First, go to Startup, then to Users, then click on Roles and click. Now, add the role under the top level, choose Admin, and then save it. Now, go to setup. From there, you can go to Users and then choose Edit, which should be beside the System Administrator User. After that, you can select the created role and save the same. Now, go to setup. From there, go to Users and then to the User Management Settings. Activate the Enhanced Profile User Interface.
