In the context of database and data analysis Microsoft Excel is one of the most powerful tools. To change the data format in Excel from mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yyyy, you need to perform several steps which are given below:-

First, you would need to select the cells. Then after, click on the “Home” tab in which you will find an option named “number format”. It can be “format cells” also as it depends on which version you are using or Microsoft Excel. There you would get another option under the number format named with “more number formats” and under the “Date” category, select the format you want to apply such as DD/MM/YYY. This step would change the date format for your cells.
