There can be few issues related to this-
- Check if you have the required access to the data you’re connecting. For example, if you are willing to connect an excel sheet to tableau then make sure you’re having proper right on it.
- Another reason can be due to space crunch. Make sure your system has enough memory. To check that check the taskbar and see if you’re running out of memory. If yes, clear some of the processes.
