I am having problems creating a pie chart in tableau. can someone help me with the requirement for a pie chart

The pie chart is a directly available chart in tableau. it is used to show the proportion of some measure. The pie chart is also being considered as an alternative to a bar chart. And so, when you have to display the proportions of the data, we majorly go ahead with the pie chart. in the pie chart instead of showing the numbers, we show percentage contributions.

To create a pie chart you should have one or more dimensions and one or more measures. if tableau is automatically showing the pie chart then you are good else you can select the pie chart from show me the option.
