I have a lot of categories and a pie chart has become very difficult to read. What other options I can offer?
The objective is to identify methods that accommodate the abundance of categories while maintaining visual clarity and facilitating interpretation. Considering the complexity of the data set, it's imperative to explore visualization techniques that enhance understanding and aid decision-making. Hence, I'm open to suggestions and recommendations on alternative visualization options that can efficiently represent the extensive category data in a clear and concise manner.
The alternative to a pie chart is a bar chart. so if you have a lot of regions in the pie chart which is causing you difficulty while reading then you can use the bar chart as an alternate option. if the bar that is not working due to any number of bars, then you may try tree maps as well
