Tableau hierarchy is wasting too much canvas space when your hierarchy is broken out into multiple layers
Hierarchies in Tableau is a way to make the report more compact and readable. the default hierarchy view is like some default view will be shown to you and when you click on that plus sign remaining columns will be presented. you can collapse the report as you want. Although the tableau hierarchy is similar to the hierarchy, we have in an excel sheet but it cannot be customized more in terms of view especially the crosstab.
